Leonardo Ilianov De La Cruz is a Dominican painter and mix media artist living in New York. Born in Los Minas, Santo Domingo, Leonardo's work depicts the Dominican inner-city experience through scenic paintings and portraits of real life, everyday people. His work have us consider class, identity and culture, reminding us of the beauty and resilience of marginalized people and underserved communities.
